Description

As with Pablo Picasso’s late paintings of passion, the woman and man are wholly integrated together. Their hugging gestures mirror each other in their physical intensity and mutual devotion. Dick Frizzell’s ‘marriage’ painting rejoices in the kiss of a newly wed couple. (Self and Other, 2003)
