Zac Langdon-Pole

Zac Langdon-Pole graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts, the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in 2010 and in 2015 he received a Meinschüler from Frankfurt's Städelschule. Langdon-Pole works in photography and sculpture. His artworks incorporate found materials that connect to his interest in memory, translation and the social and natural ordering of the worlds.

Langdon-Pole has been the recipient of multiple awards and residencies which include: Fogo Island Artist Residency, New Foundland (2018); Ars Viva Prize for Visual Art, 2018, Germany (2017), Charlotte Prinz Haus Award/Stipendium, Darmstadt (2017); Artist in Residence, NTU CEnter for Contemporary Art, Singapore (2016); National Contemporary Art Award (Merit Award), Waikato Art Museum, Hamilton (2013).
