Something Transparent (please go round the back)
Glass, timber, metal and plastic fittings, acrylic and vinyl transfer
3200 x 5100 x 100mm overall

The work in the Chartwell Collection titled Documentation of Something Transparent ( please go round the back) 2009, is the first section of this installation at Michael Lett, Auckland, New Zealand, 2009, 15 April - 16 May. "As one of the fourteen frontages it echoed the existing architecture, occupied the space and denied entry within. The work literally changed the way people negotiated the gallery by instructing them to enter through the back, past the store room and office." Fiona Connor acquisition notes.

This is a photograph of the gallery, Michael Lett, on Auckland;s Karangahape Road, taken by Fiona Connor as part of the planning for the project.
